Similar to warts on hands, but are passed through sexual contact, including manual-genital contact. Genital warts are also called venereal warts and are caused by the Human Papilloma Virus (HPV). Genital warts are found in the vagina, cervix, penis, scrotum, and anus. The virus that causes genital warts can remain in the body for a long period without displaying symptoms. Once genital warts develop, they can grow bigger and multiply if left untreated.
